Applicants may make an appeal to the Access to Information Tribunal on the following grounds:
- refusal to grant access
- the grant of access to only some of the documents requested
- deferral of the grant of access
- refusal to amend or annotate a personal record
- the charging of, or amount of a fee
The Tribunal is governed by the Access to Information (Appeal Tribunal) Rules, 2005
