Applicants may make an appeal to the Access to Information Tribunal on the following grounds:

• refusal to grant access
• the grant of access to only some of the documents requested
• deferral of the grant of access
• refusal to amend or annotate a personal record
• the charging of, or amount of a fee

The Tribunal is governed by the Access to Information (Appeal Tribunal) Rules, 2005
